በደቡብ ትግራይ፣ ሃገረሰላም ከተማ ህዝባዊ ኣመፅ ተቀሰቀሰ

በትግራይ ደቡብ ምስራቅ ዞን ሃገረሰላም ከተማ በሙስና ምክንያት መሰራት የነበረበት ባለ ሁለት መስመር መንገድ ኣንድና በጣም ጠባብ ኣድርገው የደጉዓ ተንቤን ኣስተዳዳሪዎች ሊያሰሩት ሲሉ ሰኞ 17 / 02 / 2007 ዓ/ ም ህዝባዊ ኣመፁ ሊቀሰቀስ ችለዋል።

የኣመፁ መነሻ ከመቐለ ተነስቶ ሃገረሰላም፣ ዓብይ ዓዲ፣ ዓድዋ የሚደርሰው የፌደራል መንግስት በመደበው በጀት የሚሰራው የኣስፋልት መንገድ ሃገረሰላም ከተማ ሲደርስ የድሮ መንገዱ ጠባብና ኣንድ መስመር የነበረ ሲሆን እንደሌሎች የኣገራችን ከተሞች የሚፈቀደው ስታንዳርድ ባለ ሁለት መስመር የከተማ መንገድ መሆን ሲገባው ባለ ኣንድ ኣድረገው ለመስራት በመሞከራቸው ነው።

ስራው ህብረተሰቡ “…እድሉ ሁለተኛ ግዜ ኣይገኝምና የፈረሱ ቤቶች ፈርሰው ለወደፊቱ የከተማዋ እድገት በሚፈቅድ መሰረት እንዲሆን ፈቅደናል…” የሚል ውሳኔ ኮንትራት ለያዘው የመከላከያ ኮንስትራክሽን የከተማዋ ህዝብ “..እንኳን ደህና መጣቹ..” የሚል ግብዣ ባዘጋጁበት ወቅት ነበር።

ችግሩ የተፈጠረው ኣንድ የከተማዋ “..ሃብታም ነኝ..” ባይ ሰው በመንገዱ ሁለት ኣቅጣጫዎች ፕላስ ዋን ፎቆች ኣሉበት። ይህ ሰውዬ ከወረዳዋ ኣስተዳደር በመመሳጠር “..ለከተማዋ የሚፈርሱ ቤቶች ይውላል..” ተብሎ የተመደበው ብር ተመላሽ በማድረግ መንገዱ በቂ እንደሆነ ኣድረገው “..የተጠና..” ብለው ለመከላከያ ኮንስትራክሽን በመስጠት በጀቱ ተመላሽ እንዲሆን ኣድረገዋል።

ህዝቡ “..ህገ ወጥ ውሳኔው..” ስለደረሰው ወደ ወረዳ፣ ዞን፣ ክልል፣ ፌደራል መንግስት ኣቤቱታ ቢያቀርብም ሰሚ ጀሮ ኣላገኘም።
“.. ሃብታም ነኝ..” ባይ ሰውዬም 2 ሌሎች ሰዎች ኣስከትሎ እስከ ፌደራል መንግስት የወረዳው ውሳኔ እንዲፀና ተከራከረ።

ብር ይዞ በየ ደረጃው ያሉ ኣቤቱታ ሰሚ ኣካላት ኣፋቸው የለጎማቸው ሰውየ ብር ብቻ ሳይሆን የህወሓት ኣገልጋይና ህብረተሰቡ ሁሌ የሚያነሳው የልማት ጥያቄ በማኮላሸት የሚታወቅ ነው።
ተመሳሳይ የሰውየው ተግባር በ1996 በመላ ተንቤን የተነሳው የመሰረተ ልማት ጥያቄ እንዳይሳካ ኣፍራሽ ተራ የተጫወተ ነው።

የመንገድ ስራውና የሙስናው ግልፅ መሆን ኣስገራሚ የሚያደርገው የድሃ የሚባሉ ቤቶች መሃንዲሱ በቀየሰው መሰረት ከፈረሱ ኣንድ ዓመት ማሳለፋቸው ነው። መንገዱ የወረዳው ባለስልጣናት እንደወሰኑ ተግባራዊ ቢደረግ ዚግዛግ ይሰራል።

ህዝቡ ወደ ኣመፅ የተሸጋገረው መንገዱ መሰራት ሲጀምር ነው። ህዝቡ በኣንዴ በመሰባሰብ ስራው እንዲቆም ኣድርገዋል።

ፖሊስ ኣመፁ እንዲ በትን በወረዳው ኣስተዳዳሪዎች ቢታዘዝም የህዝቡ ቁጣ በመስጋት የወሰደው እርምጃ የለም።
ህዝባዊ ኣመፁ እስከ ኣሁን መፍትሄ ኣልተበጀለትም። የመከላከያ ኮንስትራክሽንም ስራው ኣቁሟል።

ኣዎ…! ህዝቡ ኣይኑ ያፈጠጠ ሙስና ሊሸከም ፍቃደኛ ሊሆን ኣልቻለም። መንግስትም ለስልጣኑ ሲል( ለህብ ብሎ መስራት ካቆመ ብዙ ስላደረገ ነው) ኣወንታዊ ምላሽ ሊሰጠው ይገባል እንላለን።

A blessing in disguise for Temesgen Desalegn

“He wrote blaming and defaming the government as it kills, arrests, and suppresses…”

That was read in a courtroom where Temesgen’s verdict was heard yesterday. It was very disgraceful to hear this. After two years lengthy of the court case, Temesgen Desalegn was found ‘guilty’ of inciting violence and defamation. That was really funny. Criticizing the government becomes defaming it in Ethiopia. Unlucky!

The government filed over 100 lawsuits against Temsegen so far. And though it was unsurprising, the government, through its Kangaroo court, has sentenced Temesgen Desalegn, one of the most courageous journalists in Ethiopia, to three years in jail yesterday.

Temsegen is now in jail for he wrote ‘blaming and defaming the government as it kills, arrests, and suppresses’. Isn’t it a fact that the government has been doing all these on Ethiopian people? Didn’t the government kill innocents during post election period of 2005? Didn’t the government kill innocent University students last year? Didn’t the government jail journalists? It did these all. What is blaming then? Why don’t we blame the government for killings and jailing journalists and dissents?

Temsegen was just exercising his constitutional right to freedom of expression. I believe his only crime is exercising his right courageously. And I take my hat off for his job. I am not going to cry for him. He is not going to be disturbed by their arrest because he knows them very well. Yes, he knows that the government ‘arrests, kills and suppresses.’ What happened to him now is what he has been writing about.

Eskinder Nega, another hero in Kaliti prison cell, was expecting Temesgen’s sentence. During my visit last Saturday, he was telling me that EPRDF would definitely put Temesgen in prison for about 2-3 years. Eskinder was right! Temesgen has already joined him in prison, escalating the number of jailed journalists to 18, second jailer of journalists next to Eritrea in Africa.

Of course, Temesgen’s sentence is a blessing in disguise for him. He has gone several times to court. It is tiresome! Three years is too short for Temesgen as he knew they would do this on him anytime they like. He bravely discharged his responsibility. Yes, he has accomplished his job. What remains is ours! We must not let Eskinder, Reeyot, Wubshet, Temsegen, and others down. We have to keep writing, speaking out and struggle for our right.

Temsegen is jailed while exercising his right to freedom of expression courageously. The homework is on us. We shall not be jailed while we are doing nothing. I said Temesgen’s sentence is a blessing in disguise for him because he has done his part, even beyond his part, and hence need to have time to look back his journey and articulate his future move. Temesgen is really a free man; a free man behind the bar.

Yes, the government sentenced the free man. And we remain silent. Jailing is becoming a profitable business for the government because we still are silent. It is a load for us out here. For Temsegen, it is a blessing in disguise.

MEMORANDUM

TO: The United Nations Security Council Sanctions Committee

FROM: Ginbot 7 Movement for Justice, Freedom and Democracy.

SUBJECT: Response to References made about Ginbot 7 in the Report of the Monitoring Group of Somalia and Eritrea (here after SEMG), Pursuant to UN Security Council Resolution 2111 (2013).

Ginbot 7 Movement for Justice, Freedom and Democracy expresses its high regards to The United Nations Security Council, and would like to use this opportunity and bring to the attention its reservations regarding some references made about it in SEMG report of October 13, 2014.

1. The SEMG report states that “Ginbot 7 is a banned opposition group”. We would like to call the attention of the International Community to the infamous “Anti-Terrorism Proclamation” promulgated by the TPLF/EPRDF regime of Ethiopia with the aim of stifling political dissent. The dictatorial regime has used this proclamation as an instrument to label and criminalize Ginbot 7, as well as other political opposition organizations, human rights advocacy groups, civil society, journalists and bloggers inside and outside of Ethiopia.

2. Let alone the claim in the report that Ginbot 7 was established in 2005, which is categorically false, even the so-called Anti-Terrorism Proclamation was not promulgated until 2009.

Ginbot 7 was formed in 2008 after few members among its leadership spent almost two years in prison in the aftermath of the ill-fated election of May 15, 2005. As well known by the International community, the regime overturned the election results that clearly showed the opposition party Coalition for Unity and Democracy (CUD) has won the majority throughout the country. This is a fact corroborated by international election observes such as the European Union’s Election Monitoring Group that was present in Ethiopia to observe the election in 2005. Those who formed Ginbot7, then leaders of the CUD, were among the leaders thrown in prison on trumped up charges.

Ginbot 7 was formed as a political movement in order to advance justice, freedom, and liberal democracy in Ethiopia. Ginbot 7 believes that no meaningful and genuinely competitive elections can take place in the country due to the prevailing and ever worsening egregious human rights violations, the closing of political space, the harassment and persecution of members of the legal and peaceful political opposition. Furthermore, an entrenched minority ethnocratic dictatorship in Ethiopia has determined to perpetuate its hold on power by all and any means necessary.

3. SEMG’s claim in the report that Ginbot 7 was established by “Amhara elites” is grossly erroneous given the ethno-religious mix of its leadership and membership. The report’s characterization of Ginbot 7 as an organization established by “Amhara elites” is not only factually inaccurate, but a clear indication of the bias of the report. It seems like SEMG has bought lock, stock and barrel the dictatorial regime’s fabricated story of Ethiopian politics as an entirely ethnic based phenomena.

The SEMG could have easily established the facts by taking a cursory look at Ginbot 7′s website rather than unquestioningly accepting the regime’s characterization with regard to Ginbot 7′s multi ethnic membership and leadership, its organizational principle and its well established position on ethnic based politics in Ethiopia. No effort seems to have been made by the SEMG to balance its report by counterchecking its claims from Ginbot 7 or other sources instead of recycling the minority regime’s long standing targeting and demonization of the Amharas, the second largest ethnic group in Ethiopia.

4. The SEMG, despite its familiarity with political conditions in the Horn of Africa, fails to realize what is very obvious to all regarding the TPLF/EPRDF regime’s agitation, use of threat, torture and at times bribery when presenting helpless prisoners under its custody to echo unfounded guilt they are coerced to rehearse for interviews and media presentations. Hence, presenting forced confessions and unreliable information from such prisoners as evidence is beyond comprehension.

5. The SEMG’s claim to have retrieved information from an alleged Ginbot 7 fighter captured in Gonder is no different from what is explained above.

6. SEMG’s reference in its report to weapons’ serial numbers to suggest the source of certain weapons as being from Eritrea, clearly neglects the fact that numerous prisoners of war, weapons and ammunitions have exchanged hands between Ethiopian and Eritrean forces during their numerous wars.

7. Needless to say that the SEMG has been manipulated to construe that Ginbot 7 needs to extend its recruitment to the southern tip of Africa, while what Ginbot 7 objectively faces is the capacity to accommodate the tens of thousands forcing their ways into its fold from amongst the millions who support it. These are Ethiopians from very diverse backgrounds seeking a genuinely liberal democratic and just order, freedom and equality which have been denied to them by the brutal dictatorial regime of the TPLF/EPRDF.

8. It is unfortunate to note that the SEMG has been misguided to misrepresent Ginbot 7’s prevailing organizational reality that clearly demarcates boundary between its own political bodies from that of other organizations that may have opted to attain their objectives by any other means they deem appropriate.

9. Ginbot 7 found the claim in the report regarding persons SEMG suggests were received by Andargachew Tsege upon their arrival in Asmara and who have “joined a group of 30 to 60 Ginbot 7 fighters at Harena Military Camp” comical, simply because the arithmetic percentile between 30 and 60 is 100% and hence too large a difference for any wrong guessing.

10. The SEMG clearly states in its report that it was unable to verify the claims of the alleged Ginbot 7 fighters, which begs the question, then, as to why the SEMG had to dwell in its defamatory claims and tarnish the image of Ginbot 7.

11. The same can be said about SEMG’s statement in its report regarding its inability to assess the extent of this unsubstantiated support as compared with Asmara’s support of Ginbot 7 in the past.

12. The SEMG seems to be deliberately overlooking or otherwise incognizant of TPLF/EPRDF regime’s well recorded expertise in passport, travel document, and other forms of forgeries going back to its days as a guerrilla force. Had this not been the case, understanding the nature of documents presented to it by the regime’s security officials, should not have been beyond the comprehension of the SEMG.

The allegations by SEMG may be well calculated and deliberate distortions aimed at upholding the sanctions imposed on Eritrea. However, we fail to comprehend why Ginbot 7, or the Ethiopian people for whose rights our organization is struggling for, is interjected in these maneuvers.

Ginbot 7, however, would like to use this opportunity to assure all concerned, including the United Nation’s Security Council, that it is ready to give freely and candidly tangible explanations related to its mission and the achievements in the process of registering its just struggle.

Ginbot 7 Movement for Justice, Freedom and Democracy would like to respectfully conclude its MEMORANDUM by strongly affirming that it stands ready and willing to cooperate with the International Community, in good faith, and contribute everything within its capacity for sustainable regional peace and stability in the Horn of Africa.

ሚሊዮኖች ድምጽ -ሃብታሙ አያሌው ቶርቸር እየተደረገ ነው !

ክስ ሳይመሰረትበት ለአራት ወራት በማእከላዊ እስር ቤት የሚገኘው የአንድነት የሕዝብ ግንኙነት ክፍል ሃላፊ ወጣት ሃብታሙ አያሌው፣ ከፍተኛ ኢሰብአዊ ግፍ እየተፈጸመበት እንደሆነ ታወቀ።

“ወደ ፖለቲካው የማትመለስ ከሆነ ትወጣለህ። አለበለዚያ እዚሁ ነው የምትሞተው” በማለት አማራጭ ቢያቀርቡለትም፣ ሃብታሙ መሞትን እመርጣለሁ የሚል መልስ የሰጣቸው ሲሆን፣ እየደረሰበት ባለው ስቃይ በጣም እየታመመ እንደሆነ ለማወቅ ተችሏል። “እስኪ ትግሉን እናስቀጥላለን የሚሉ ሰዎች ያድኑህ ? “ ሲሉ አሳሪዎቹ በስቃዩ የሚደሰቱ ሲሆን፣ ከባለቤቱ በስትቀር ጠበቃዉም ሁሉ ሳይቀር እንዳያየው ተደርጓል።

በተመሳሳይ ሁኔታ ዳንኤል ሺበሺ፣ የአንድነት የድርጅት ጉዳይ ም/ሃላፊ ፣ በታፈነና አየር በማያስወጣ ክፍል ዉስጥ እንዲታሰር በመደረጉ በተደጋጋሚ ለተቅማጥና ተያያዥ በሽታ መጋለጡን፣ እንዲሁም የመተንፈስ ችግር እንዳለበት ለማወቅ ችለናል። “የፓርቲያችሁ የገንዘብ ምንጭ ምንድን ነው ? አንድነት ዉስጥ ያሉ ጠንካራ አባላት እነማን ናቸው ? “ በሚል ጥያቄ የቀረበለት ዳንኤል ሺበሺ፣ ክብሩን በሚነካ መልኩ እንደሚሰደብም የደረሰን መረጃ ያመለክታል።

ሃብታሙ አያሌው ፣ በእርሱ ላይ እይደረሰ ያለው ግፍ በማንም ዜጋ ላይ መድረስ እንደሌለበት በመግልጽ “የግፈኛው አገዛዝ እንዲያበቃ የኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ መነሳት አለበት” ሲልም ለህዝቡ የትግል ጥሪ አስተላልፏል።

የ “ካዛንችሱ መንግስት በአዲሰ አበባ ማዘጋጃ ቤት” – ከግርማ ሰይፉ ማሩ

ዛሬ ጥቅምት 17/ 2007 እግር ጥሎኝ አዲሰ አበባ ማዘጋጃ ቤት ጎራ ብዬ ነበር፡፡ የታዘብኩት ነገር ያስታወኝ ኤርሚያስ ለገስ “የመለስ ትሩፋቶች” በሚል ባወጣው መፅሃፍ ውስጥ “የካዛንችስ መንግሰት” ብሎ ያስነበበንን በገሃድ ከካዛንችስ ቦታ ቀይሮ አዲስ አበባ መስተዳደር ግቢ ውስጥ መኖሩን ነው፡፡ የካዛንችሱ መንግሰት ምን እንደሚሰራ እዚህ መዘርዘር አይጠበቅብኝም፤ በጥቅሉ ግን የአዲስ አበባ ህዝብ “መርጦ” ወይም ቀጥሮ ያስቀመጣቸው ሰዎች ሳይሆን ውሳኔ የሚስጡት ሌሎች በስውር በደህንነት ስም በኢህአዴግ የተቀመጡ ሰውር እጆች መሆናቸውን የሚያሳይ ነው፡፡

እነዚህ ሰውር እጆች ለእኛ ለተቃዋሚዎች አዲስ አይደሉም ለምሳሌ፤

· በሆቴሎች አዳራሽ ለማከራየት አንችልም ምንም ጠቃሚ ገንዘብ ቢሆን ሆቴሎች ፈቃደኞች አይደለም፤

· ማተሚያ ቤቶች የተቃዋሚ ፓርቲዎች ወይም እነርሱን ይደግፋሉ የሚባሉ የግል ጋዜጦችና መፅሄቶች አያትሙም

· መብራት ኃይል ለአንድነት የማተሚያ ማሽን ሊያንቀሳቅስ የሚችል የኤሌትሪክ ሀይል (ሰሪ ፌዝ የሚባል ሀይል) ለፓርቲ ለማስገባት ፈቃደኛ አይደለም፤

· ቤት አከራዮች ቤታቸውን ለማከራየት ይፈራሉ፤

· በቅስቀሳ ጊዜ መኪና እና የድምፅ መሳሪያዎች ማግኘት ፈተና ነው፤

· ለቅስቀሳ የወጡ ሰዎች እንደ በግ በየጣቢያው ሲታሰሩ የሚያስሩት ሰዎች በግልፅ ዩኒፎርም የለበሱት ፖሊሶች ሳይሆኑ በሬዲዮ የሚያዙ ማን እንደሆኑ የማይታወቁ ናቸው፤ ወዘተ ይህ ሁሉ የሚሆነው በህግ አግባብ ሳይሆን በሰውር መንግስት ውስጥ ያሉ ሰውር እጆች የሚሰሩት ነው፡፡

ለዛሬ ፅሁፌ መነሻ የሆነኝ ግን በአዲስ አበባ ከተማ መስተዳድር የህዝባዊ ስብሰባና ሰላማዊ ሰልፍ ማሳወቂያ ክፍል ኦፌሰር የሆኑት አቶ ማርቆስ ብዙነህ የሰጡን ምላሽ ነው፡፡ አንድነት ፓርቲ በቀጣይ ፓርቲው በሚያደርገው እንቅስቃሴዎች የፓርቲ አባላትን በስነ ምግባር የታነፁ እና ሰላማዊ ትግል በሰለጠነ መንገድ የሚደረግና በግብግብ ሳይሆን በሃሳብ የበላይነት የተመሰረተ እንዲሆን ለማድረግ ለሚያካሂደው ስልጠና ለማካሄድ አዳራሽ ለመከራየት ባቀረብነው ጥያቄ በጎ ምላሽ እንደሌለ ከውስጥ ሰምተን ምክንያቱን በግንባር ለማወቅ ሄጄ የሰማሁት ምላሽ በአንድ መንግሰታዊ ተቋም ውስጥ ተቀጥሮ ደሞዝ ከሚበላ ሲቪል ሰራተኛ የሚጠበቅ ሆኖ አላገኘሁትም፡፡ የሰጡን ምላሽ “አራት ሰዎች መጥተው ፍቃዱ እንዳይስጥ ጠይቀው አለቃይ እንዳትሰጥ ስለአለኝ ነው የሚል ነው፡፡” በቃ ይህ ነው ምክንያቱ፡፡ አንድነት ፓርቲ ይህን ፈቃዳ ላለማግኘት አንድም ያጎደለው መስፈርት የለም፡፡ አቶ ማርቆስ አለቃቸው ይህን መልስ ሲሰጣቸው ለምን? እንዴት ብዬ? ከመመሪያ አንጻር ልክ አይደለም ብለው አይጠይቁም፡፡ አለቃቸውንም አይሞግቱም፡፡ እርሳቸውም የሚያውቁት አለቃቸውም ቢሆን እራሳቸው እንደማይወስኑ፡፡ የሚወስነው ይህ ስውር እጅ ያለው ካዛንችስ የነበረው አሁን በመስተዳድር ቅፅር ግቢ የሚገኘው መንግሰት እንደሆነ፡፡

አንድ መስሪያ ቤት ሰራውን የሚሰራው በአዋጅ በተሰጠው ስልጣን በደንብ እና መመሪያ እንደሆነ ይታወቃል፡፡ ኦፊሰሮች ተግባራቸውን ሲያከናውኑ ደግሞ እነዚህ የህግ ማዕቀፎች መሰረት አድረገው ነው ብለን እንጠብቃለን፡፡ በዚህች ምስኪን ሀገር ግን ይህ ምፀት ነው፡፡ በህግ ማዕቀፍ የሚሰራ ኦፊስር ማግኘት ዘበት እየሆነ መጥቶዋል፡፡ አለቃው በቃል አድርግ ያለውን የሚያደርግ የማርቆስ ዓይነት ኦፊሰር ሞልቶ ተርፎዋል፡፡ በጣም የሚገርመኝ የዚህ ዓይነት ኦፊሰሮች ለልጆቻቸው ሰራ ሄጃላሁ የሚሉ ከሆነ ብቻ ነው፡፡ ባይሉ

ዋቸው ደግ ነው፡፡ ይህን ሊያደርጉ መሄዳቸውን ሲያውቁ ያፍሩባቸዋል ብዬ ስለማስብ ነው፡፡ ለምን ለልጆቻችን ማፈሪያ እንደምንሆን አይገባኝም፡፡
መልካም አስተዳደር አስፍናለሁ የሚል መንግሰት መልካም አሰተዳደር የሚሰፍነው በአዳራሽ ኮፍያና ቲ ሸርት ለብሶ በሚደረግ ዲስኩር እንዳልሆነ የገባው አይመስለም፡፡ መልካም አስተዳደር የሚሰፍነው በህግ ማዕቀፍ አገልግሎት የሚሰጥ ሲቪል ሰርቪስ ሰራተኛ አገልግሎት ሲሰጥ እንጂ በስውር በቃል በሚሰጥ ትዕዛዝ እንዳለሆነ መረዳት ይኖርብናል፡፡ ማርቆስ በሚሰጠው መልስ እየተበሳጨ፣ እያዘነ ሲከፋውም እየተሳደበ የሚሄድ ተገልጋይ መዘዝ እንደሚያመጠ ግን የገባቸው አይመስለኝም፡፡ ይህ ሁሉ የሚሆነው ደግሞ በስውር መንግሰት በዚህ መንገድ እንዲሆን ስለሚፈልግ ነው፡፡

Sentencing of Ethiopian journalist Temesghen Desalegn

Ethiopian court sentences journalist to three years in prison

CPJ Nairobi, October 27, 2014–The Committee to Protect Journalists condemns today’s sentencing of Ethiopian journalist Temesghen Desalegn to three years’ imprisonment on charges of defamation and incitement that date back to 2012. A court in Addis Ababa, the capital, convicted Temesgen on October 13 in connection with opinion pieces published in the now-defunct Feteh news magazine, according to news reports. He was arrested the same day. Authorities have routinely targeted Temesghen for his writing. Temesghen’s lawyer said he plans to appeal the ruling, according to local journalists.

“With each journalist sentenced to prison, Ethiopia takes another step further from freedom of the press and democratic society,” said CPJ East Africa Representative Tom Rhodes. “We urge Ethiopian authorities to overturn Temesghen’s conviction on appeal and release him and all other journalists jailed for doing their jobs.”

A state crackdown on independent publications and bloggers has taken place in Ethiopia this year, prompting several Ethiopian journalists to flee into exile, according to CPJ research. With at least 17 journalists in jail, Ethiopia is the second worst jailer of journalists in Africa, second only to its neighbor Eritrea, CPJ research shows.

Meles’ Legacy Is Tripping The TPLF

Let it be known that I never personally met or spoke with Meles, nor did I have the ability to read his mind. What I will say, just like everyone else, I can perceive the character of the man through his actions—the actions of a divider of people, murderer of the innocent, and thief of a nation’s potential.

Thus, after the death of Meles an undisclosed illness, some people were speculating that the Tigray People Liberation Front (TPLF) would take the opportunity to abandon their fascist form of government and intractable “divide and rule” policies. Not only to end this cruel policy, the TPLF became worse than their late capricious prime minister. The TPLF hid Meles’ death from the people for about a month while his political party the Tigray People Liberation Front (TPLF) schemed and plotted to continue his legacy of oppression. Right now, they are brutally beating and harassing the people who disagree with their policies. While Andargachew Tsige was interrogated briefly by the regime’s security apparatus on Woyanne owned TV, we heard people being tortured in the background. The victims were screaming in excruciating pain. It is unprecedented that a government dare to show a shocking and a disturbed voice to the public.

Funny enough, the Woyanne groups are uneducated who do not care about people; they just perpetuate their own interests to buy more time to run the country for another twenty two years by preaching and adulating their late prime minister’s policies. Of course, Hailemariam Desalegne outcries about Meles’ greatness and a visionary leader, that brought a sustainable democracy which embraces all ethnicities in the country. it is quite clear that Meles was the one who picked Hailemariam as his deputy prime minister and if Hailemariam idolizes his late boss, no one would be surprised. In addition to that, Meles knew that Hailemariam is too much to divulge his repugnancy towards Amhara ethnic group which made him very loyal and closer friend to Meles.

I have been scrupulously watching the regime and its supporters on how they disseminate invidious discrimination of propaganda about Amhara by calling ‘NEFTEGNA’ to create an ethnic cleansing with other ethnics in order to stay in power which is dangerously wrong. There is no doubt that Meles and his party had a deep hatred towards Amhara. Even after Meles died, the so-called ruling political coalition, EPRDF junta government, each and everyone has anti-Amhara sentiment. I still do remember when Shabia and Woyanne were in the bush, their core principle of the slogan was first to break the back bone of Amhara. Of course, no one deny that Amaras have been suffered since the TPLF gripped the power.

Sadly enough, the TPLF brutal killing of innocent Amharas peasants in the southern part of the country was not enough; the TPLF tried to inject some sort of sterilizer into Amhara women that would make them unable to conceive. Further, a few years ago a report given to Woyanne parliament about the disappearance of 2.4 million Amharas in the census conducted was an evidence. The TPLF tried any means necessary to reduce the number of Amhara population. These diabolic actions on Amharas, it is not new, it is already in the record.

It is fact that Today’s TPLF and its surrogates control vast areas of wealth in Ethiopia. Of course, whether like it or not, many Tigryans are beneficiary more than any one of the Ethiopian ethnic group under the TPLF rule. For no reason, Amharas have been made the main target of vilification, and demonization by TPLF for the last twenty-two years. I know some of the TPLF’s sympathizers will not agree with the facts that I reveal about the TPLF ethnic junta is doing to the innocent Amharas in the south. At this point of time, the Woyanne propaganda on Amhara they created racial antipathy between other ethnic groups is not a lasting, it is a transient.

What are the Meles’ Legacies?

Since Meles’ passing, the TPLF have had a hard time to replace their late prime minister. The TPLF tried to look for a person whose ethnic origin is Tigryan or Eritrean who has a tendency to prevaricate about Ethiopian history, but they might think they would excoriate for the replacing their own ethnicity, and then the TPLF, after assiduously thinking, artfully and systematically appointed Hailemariam Desalegne as prime minister of Ethiopia whose ethnicity is from Welayita to divert the attention of the people. Funny enough, Hailemariam is a vulnerable prime minister who is not a decision maker where under surveillance of the TPLF. Every one knows in Ethiopia that Hailemariam is a puppet prime minister who takes an order from the TPLF cabal.

Having said that, Meles was a ferocious and a perfidious person who mortified the nation and its people in the eyes of the world in the twenty first century. Let us not forget that, Meles was the one who made Ethiopia landlocked and ninety million people left without port. He also publicly said that “Ethiopian’s history is only 100 years old, and its flag is a piece of rag.” At one time, I was surprised by his flippant remarks about Tewoderos and Menilik that he was comparing himself claiming that Ethiopians for the first time got a peace under his rule. Surprisingly enough, a despicable and a traitor person comparing himself to those great men and a true sons of Ethiopia who protected Ethiopians from foreign invaders is a bluffing and a gimmick. Anyway, that was his usual prating.

Going back to my point, the regime is worshiping of the late dictator to persuade his policy whose actions were anti-Ethiopian that put the country on a dangerous path of the division along ethnic and language line based federalism. At the matter of fact, Meles was a one-man rule who had an absolute power and spun the Woyane for the last twenty one years. Now the regime tries to preach personal cult of a tyrant leader by bemusing the true dictatorial legacy of Meles.

Meles was a capable of dissimulation to stay in power by creating an idea where most people agree with it, like ‘Renaissance Dam’, to divert the issues and muzzling the political dissents. When Meles wants to detain the people who disagree with his policies, he blackmails by creating false documents that involves with terror activities, and when he gets a big criticism from the people, he immediately changes his mind to release those who falsely put in prison. Then after brutally tortured and demeaned, the prisoners were required to sign a letter of apology to Meles Zenawi with preconditions.

Now, the Meles’ legacy is the word of God for Woyanne, which is not working well as worked well for him. Since Meles died, mass killings and incarceration have doubled in the country. As the result, these criminal acts made Ethiopians more united inside and outside against the TPLF than before. For example, recently in Washington D.C., the brave and courageous young people occupied the Woyanne Embassy and brought down the provocative TPLF flag, then hoisted the true colors of the Ethiopian flag. Thus, the dubious policies being made by Meles that put the present brutal regime into a deeper political quagmire. Arresting and torturing the people will not bring any solution for TPLF; rather, it aggravates civil strife and instability in the country.

Finally, I call on opposition forces to stand up and be a voice for defenseless people who have been physically and verbally assaulted by the brutal regime in Ethiopia. It is about time to put aside their differences and to work together at this critical time, otherwise, the TPLF continues to repress the people and dismember the country. I do not have a moral authority to tell the opposition what to do, but I would like to share my humble opinion to the opposition forces that unity is paramount in order to remove the Tigryan ruling oligarchy.

የፍትህ ጋዜጣ ዋና አዘጋጅ የነበረው ጋዜጠኛ ተመስገን ደሳለኝ በዛሬው ቀን በዋለው ችሎት 3 አመት ጽኑ እስራት ተፈረደበት፡፡ ፍትህን ሲያሳትም የነበረውና ሁለተኛ ተከሳሽ የሆነው ማስተዋል ህትመትና ማስታወቂያ በ10 ሺህ ብር ቅጣት ተጥሎበታል፡፡

ጋዜጠኛ ተመስገን ደሳለኝ ጥቅም 3/2007 ዓ.ም የመንግስትን ስም ማጥፋት፣ ህዝብን ማነሳሳትና የህዝብን አመለካከት ማናወጽ በሚሉ ሶስት ክሶች ጥፋተኛ የተባለ ሲሆን አሁን የተፈረደበት በትኛው እንደሆነ ባይታወቅም በአንደኛው ክስ ነው ተብሏል፡፡ የጥፋነኝነት ክሱ በተነበበት ወቅት ግን ‹‹መንግስት ይገድላል፣ ያፍናል፣ ይጨቁናል ብሎ ጽፏል፡፡›› በሚል ጥፋተኝ ነው ተብሏል፡፡

አቃቢ ህግ የቅጣት ማክበጃ ያላቀረበ ሲሆን ጋዜጠኛ ተመስገን ደሳለኝም ሆነ ጠበቃው የቅጣት ማቅለያ አላቀረቡም፡፡ በሌላ በኩል የጋዜጠኛው ጠበቃ አምሃ መኮንን ይግባኝ እንደሚጠይቁ አስታውቀዋል፡፡

ህወሃትና የጦር አበጋዞቹ እሴቶች

ህወሃት የትግሬ ተወካይ ብቻ ሳልሆን ለትግራይ ህዝብ የሚያመልከውን አምላክም ጭምር የምመርጥለት እኔ ነኝ በሚል እብሪት ውስጥ ይገኛል። በዚህ እብሪቱም እየተመራ የምታመልኩትን ልመርጥላችሁ ብሎ አጠቃላይ ሙስሊሙንም ክርስትያኑንም እያመሰው እንደሆነ እያየን ነው። እኔን የማይቀበል እጣ ፈንታው ከመታመስ በላይ የሆነ ወዮታ ነው የሚል ያልተፃፈ አዋጅም አለው። ህወሃት በትግራይ ትከሻ ላይ ተፈናጦ፤ ትግራይን ምርጫ አሳጥቶ እኔን እምኑ መንገዳችሁም ህይወታችሁም እኔ ብቻ ነኝ ብሎ ራሱን የትግራይ ጣዖት አድርጎ ሹሟል። ይሄን ጣዖት አንቀበልም፤ እኛ የራሳችን ሂሊና ያለን እንደ ሰው ማሰብ የምንችል ነን ያሉ ብዙ የኢትዮጵያ ልጆች ባልታወጀው አዋጅ መሠረት አብዮታዊ ፀሎት እየተፀለየላቸው አፈር ለብሰው ቀርተዋል።የህወሃት የእብሪቱ መጀመሪያ “እኔ ያልኩት ካልሆነ ሁሉም ገደል ይግባ” ማለቱ ነው። የትግራይ ተወካይ እኔ ብቻ ነኝ ሌላው ሁሉ የትግራይ ህዝብ ጠላት ነው የሚል እምነቱ የድርጅቱን ሥር የሰደደ መሠሪነትና እብሪት የሚያሳይ ነው።

ብዙ ኢትዮጵያዊያን ህወሃት የቆመው ለትግራይ ህዝብ ነው የሚል ዕምነት አሳድረዋል። ይሄን አስተሳሰብ መቀበል የሚጠቅመው ለህወሃት ብቻ ነው።ህወሃት ለትግራይ ህዝብ ክብርም ፍቅርም ያለው ቡድን አይደለም። ለትግራይ ህዝብ በጎ ምኞት እና ክብር ያለው ቢሆን ኑሮ የትግራይ ህዝብ የወደደውን እንዲመርጥ፤ ያልወደደውን እንዲተው ያልተሸራረፈ ነፃነት እንዲኖረው ያደርግ ነበር። እኛ እንደምናየው ግን የትግራይ ህዝብ የወደደውን ለመምረጥ፤የጠላውን ለመተው እንዲችል ነፃነትያለው ህዝብ አይደለም። የትግራይ ህዝብ ነፃነቱን በነፃነት ሥም ያጣ ህዝብ ሁኗል። ህወሃቶች የትግራይን ህዝብ ነፃነት ሸራርፈው ሸራርፈው ህዝቡን በሙሉ መያዣ አድርገውና ከወገኑ ለይተውት እየገዙት ይገኛሉ። የትግራይም ህዝብ ሳይወድ በግዱ ህወሃቶችን ተሸክሞ መከራው በዝቶ እየተገዛ ይገኛል።

ህወሃት መራሽ በሆነው መከላከያ ድህረ-ገፅ ላይ “ያልተሸራረፈ ዲሞክራሲያዊ አስተሳሰብ ማስረፅ” እሴታችን ነው የሚል መፈክር በጉልህ ተፅፏል። ህወሃቶች መከላከያ ኃይሉ የቆመው የህዝቡን ያልተሸራረፈ ዲሞክራሲዊያ አስተሳሰብ ለመንከባከብ ነው እያሉን ነው። የህዝቡ ዲሞክራሲያዊ መብት ሳይሸራረፍ ተከብሮ ቢሆን ኑሮ ጋዜጠኛ ሚሊዮን ሹርቤ ተሰዶ ሂዶ በባዕድ አገር ባልሞተ ነበር። ህዝቡ በኑሮ ውድነት ባልተሰቃየ ነበር፤ አገሪቷ ሠላም ርቋት እዚህም እዚያም የዜጎች ደም በከንቱ ባልፈሰሰ ነበር፤ የአገሪቷ ብሄራዊ አንድነት ላልቶ ዜጎች ይሄ ክልል አገራችሁ አይደለም እየተባሉ ከኖሩበት መንደር ውጡ ባልተባሉ ነበር፤ ዜጎቿ አገር ውስጥ ከመኖር ይልቅ በባህር ውስጥ አዞ መበላትን ምርጫቸው ባላደረጉ ነበር። አገሪቷ እንዲህ ምስቅልቅሏ ወጥቶ ባለበት ሁኔታ ህወሃቶች ያልተሸራረፈ ዴሞክራሲያዊ አስተሳሰብን መንከባከብ የሚችል ሠራዊት ገንብተናል እያሉ እያላዘኑ ይገኛሉ። ይሄንንም ለማጠናከር ስንል የጦር አበጋዞችን መሾም አስፈልጎናል ብለው የአንደኛ ደረጃ ፊደል ቆጥረው ያልዘለቁ ሽፍቶችን ሹመት በሹት እያደረጓቸው ነው።

“ዘላለማዊ ክብር” በሰይጣን መንፈስ ሲመራ ለነበረው ለመለስ ዜናዊ ይገባል ብሎ የሚያመነው “ክርስትያኑ” ደሳለኝ ኃ/ማሪያም በመለስ ዜናዊ መንፈስ እየተመራ ስልጣኑን ከያዘ ግዜ ጀምሮ 4 ሌተናል ጄኔራሎች፤ 9 ሜጄር ጄኔራሎች፤ 28 ብርጋዴር ጄኔራሎችን ሹሟል። ብዙ ሰዎች ግን ደሳለኝ ኃ/ማሪያም በዚህ ሹመት ውስጥ የመወሰን ድምፅ የለውም ይላሉ። እንዲያውም ደሳለኝ የነብሩን ጭራ ይዞ እንዳይለቀው ጭንቅ ሆኖበት የሚኖር ብኩን ግለሰብ ነው ሲሉም ያክላሉ። ያም ሆነ ይህ ደሳለኝ ኃ/ማሪያም የመለስ ዜናዊን ራዕይ ሊያስፈፅም በትር ስልጣኑን ጨብጧልና በእርሱ ዘመን ለሚሆነው ሁሉ ኃላፊነት ይወስዳል።

ወደ ጦር አበጋዞቹ እንመለስ ከእነዚህ የጦር አበጋዞች መካከል አብዛኞቹ የህወሃት አባሎች መሆናቸው የታወቀ ነው። በዚህ ጥቅምት ወር ብቻ 3 ሌተናል ጄኔራሎች እና 3 ሜጄር ጄኔራሎች ተሹመዋል። እነዚህ የጦር አበጋዞች በየትኛው መደበኛ ጦር አውድማ ላይ ውለው ለዚህ ማዕረግ የሚያበቃቸውን ምግባር እንደፈፀሙ የሚያውቅ የለም። ሽፍቶች እና ጎሬላ ተዋጊዎች መሆናቸው ግን የሚካድ አይደለም። የሽፍትነትና የጎሬላ ውጊያ ልምድ ግን ለዚህ ማዕረግ የሚያበቃቸው ሊሆን እንደማይችል የታወቀ ነው።

የእነዚህ የጦር አበጋዞች ሹመት ባላቸው የትምህርት ደረጃ፤ ለህዝባቸው ባላቸው ክብር፤ ለአገራቸው ባላቸው ፍቅር ሳይሆን ለጣዖቱ ህወሃት ያላቸው ታማኝነት ሚዛን ደፍቶ በመገኘቱ ነው።

ከስድስቱ የጦር አበጋዞች መካከል የአራቱ ሹመት ቤተሰባዊ ዝምድናን መሠረት ያደረገ ስለመሆኑ የሚከተለውን ትሥሥር እንድትመለከቱ እንጋብዛላእን።

1ኛ. በሌተናል ጄኔራልነት ማዕረግ የተሾመው አብርሃም ወ/ማሪያም የመለስ ዜናዊ የሥጋ ዘመድ ነው። የመለስ ዜናዊ ቅደመ አያት በጎን ከሌላ ሴት የወለዷቸው ሴት ልጅ ልጅ ነው።

2ኛ. ሜጄር ጄኔራል ክንፈ ዳኜ ደግሞ አባቱ አቶ ዳኜ ገ/ስላሴና የመለስ አባት የአቶ ዜናዊ እናቶች እህትማማቾች ናቸው።

3ኛ. ሜጄር ጄኔራል ዘውዱ እሸቴ ደግሞ የመለስ ዜናዊን የቅርብ ዘመድ አግብቶ በጋብቻ ተሳስሯል። ሚስቱ ደግሞ በ18 ዓመት ታንሰዋለች።

4ኛ. ሜጀር ጄኔራል ተክለብርሃን ወ/አረጋይ የመለስ ዜናዊ የአክስት ልጅ ነው።

ይህ መከላከያ ኃይል ተብሎ የአንድን ጎጠኛ ድርጅት ህልውና ለመጠበቅ የቆመውን ቡድን የሚመሩት የጦር አበጋዞች በትምህርት ደረጃቸው ከሚያዟቸው ተራ ወታደሮች የማይሻሉ፤ ከራሳቸው ወዲያ ህዝብና አገር የሚባል ነገር የማያውቁ፤ በአገኙት አጋጣሚ ሁሉ የአገሪቷን ሃብት ለመዝረፍ የሚሸቀዳደሙ እና ራሳቸውን እንደ ኢንቨሰተር የሚቆጥሩ፤ የውትድርናን ሙያ ከነፍስ ግዲያና ከጭካኔ ለይተው የማያዩ እና ርህራሄ የሌላቸው ስለመሆናቸው የህወሃት ድርሳናት ይመሰክራሉ።

ህወሃት ርህራሄን የማያውቁ ጭካኞችን የጀግንነት ማዕረግ እየሰጠ በአገሪቷ ላይ እያሰማራ ይገኛል። የህወሃቶች ስነ-ምግባርም ሆነ ስነ-ልቦና ለጀግንነት የሚያበቃቸው አይደለም። በህወሃት መንደር ጀግናና ጀግንነት አይታወቁም። ጀግና እውነትን አይፈራም። ህወሃት እውነትን ስለሚፈራ ገና ድክ ድክ የሚሉ ነፃ ሚዲያዎችን ያለ ምንም ማወላወል ሊደመስሱ የሚሸቀዳደሙትን ይሾማል። ጀግና ነፃ ሚዲያን የሚፈራበት ምንም ምክንያት አይኖረውም። ጀግና ነፍሰ ገዳይ አይደለም። ህወሃት ህፃን ነብዩን የመሰሉ እንቦቀቅላዎችን ግንባር ግንባራቸውን ብለው ለመግደል የማይራሩ ጨካኞችን ይሾማል። ጀግና ሌብነትን ከልቡ ይፀየፋል። ህወሃት ግን ሌብነትን የሚፀየፉትን ሳይሆን የድሃ ንብረት ሰርቆ ሃብት ማካበትን እንደ ብልጠት የሚቆጥሩ ደካሞችን ጄኔራል እያለ ያሰማራል።

በዚህ በጥቅምት ወር የተሾሙት 6 የጦር አበጋዞች ለሹመት ሲታጩ የትምህርት ዝግጅታቸውና ብቃታቸው፤ ለአገራቸው ያደረጉት የላቀ አስተዋፅዖ፤በውጊያ አውድማ ያሳዩት ጀግንነት ታይቶ ነው የሚል ወሬ ከህወሃት መንደር ተሰምቷል። ህወሃቶች እና ደጋፊዎቻቸው ይሄን ለማመን አይቸገሩም። የእነዚህ ቡድኖች ዋና መለያ የገዛ ውሸታቸውን እውነት ነው ብለው አምነው ጥሩ እንቅልፍ መተኛት የሚችሉ መሆናቸው ነው። የገዛ ውሸቱን እውነት ነው ብሎ የሚያምን ግለሰብ ብርቱ የሆነ የስነ-ልቦና ቀውስ ውስጥ የወደቀ መሆንኑ የስነ-አዕምሮ ተማራማሪዎች ይናገራሉ። ህወሃቶችም ብርቱ በሆነ የስነ-ልቦና ቀውስ ውስጥ እንደሚገኙ ለማየት የዕለት ተዕለት ውሸቶቻቸውን እና የሚፈፀሙትን ፀያፍ ድርጊቶች ማየት በቂ ይሆናል።

የኢትዮጵያ መከላከያ ኃይል በጥቂት በዘረ ሃረጋቸውና በቤተሰብ ክር በተሳሰሩ ወንበዴዎች እጅ ወድቋል። በእነዚህ ዘራፊዎች የሚመራ የሠራዊት ኃይል የህዝቡን ዲሞክራሲያዊ መብት ማስከበር አይቻለውም። የጦር አበጋዞቹ የአገሪቷን አንጡራ ሃብት እየዘረፉ ከገነቧቸው ህንፃዎች በየወሩ የሚሰበስቡትን ገንዘብ የሚጠይቅ ለህዝብ ወገንተኛ የሆነ መንግስት እንዲመሰረት ምንም ፍላጎት አይኖራቸውም። ለእነዚህ ጦር አበጋዞች ነፃነት፤ ፍትህ፤ እኩልነት እና እውነተኛ ዲሞክራሲያዊ ሥርዓት የሚባሉ ነገሮች ያሸብሯቸዋል። እነዚህንም ጥያቄዎች ያነሳ አሸባሪ ተብሎ የዚህን ምድር ሥቃይ እንዲያይ ይደረጋል።ይሄ ቡድን ሥልጣን ላይ እስከቆየ ድረስ ነፃነት ፤የህግ የበላይነት፤ እኩልነት የሚባሉ እሴቶች በኢትዮጵያ ይሰፍናሉ ብሎ ማሰብ ሞኝነት ነው።

በመጨረሻም ተራው ወታደር እንደማንኛውም ኢትዮጵያዊ ነፃነቱን ተገፎ ለምንና ለማን እንደሚገልና እንደሚሞት ሳያውቅ በገዛ ወገኖቹ ላይ እየተኮሰና የንፁህ ደም እያፈሰሰ እንደሚኖር እያየን ነው። ተራው ወታደር ጋምቤላ ሂዶ ያገኘውን ሁሉ የሚገድለው ለምንድ ነው? ኦጋዴን ሂዶ የዘር ማጥፋት ወንጀል የሚፈፅመው ለምንድ ነው? ጉራፋርዳ ወርዶ የመዥንግሮችን ደም የሚያፈሰው በምን ምክንያት ነው? ያልተሸራረፈ ዲሞክራሲን አስፍነናል ከተባለ ይሄ ሁሉ ውጊያ ምንጩ ምንድ ነው? ሠራዊቱ ለእነዚህና ለመሰል ጥያቄዎች በቂ መልስ መፈለግ ይኖርበታል።ምንም ትርጉም በሌለው ውጊያ ውስጥ እየሄደ የንፁህ ደም ማፍሰሱን ለማቆምና ነገ በወንጀል ከመጠየቅ ራስንም ለማዳን ሠራዊቱ ራሱን ከዘረኞቹና ከዘራፊዎቹ የጦር አበጋዞች መለየት ይኖርበታል።ከእርሱ በሞራልም ሆነ በትምህርት ደርጃቸው ከማይሻሉ ጄኔራል ተብየዎች ራሱን ለይቶ ለነፃነት፤ ለፍትህ እና ለእኩልነት ከሚታገሉ ኃይሎች ጎን እንዲሰለፍ ጥሪያችንን አሁንም እናስተላልፋለን።

የእንግሊዝ የስራ ሃላፊዎች በእስር ላይ የሚገኙትን አቶ አንዳርጋቸው ጽጌን በቋሚነት መጎብኘት እንዲችሉ ግፊት ቢያደርጉም፣ የኢትዮጵያ መንግስት ባለስልጣናት በጎ ምላሽ እንዳልሰጡ ለልጆቹና ለእናታቸው በሰጡት ምላሽ የገለጹት ዴቪድ ካሜሩን፣ ከዚህ በፊት የተደረገው ጥረት ውጤታማ አለመሆኑን በማጤን በግላቸው ለጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ሃይለማርያም ደሳለኝ ደብዳቤ መላካቸውን አመልክተዋል፡፡የእንግሊዝ መንግስት የቆንስላ አባላት አንዳርጋቸው ጽጌን በቋሚነት መጠየቅና ማማከር የሚችሉበት ሁኔታ እንዲመቻችና መንግስታቸው ሲቃወመው የቆየው የሞት ፍርድ ተፈጻሚ እንደማይሆን ማረጋገጫ እንዲሰጥ በላኩት ደብዳቤ መጠየቃቸውን የገለጹት ዴቪድ ካሜሩን፣ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ሃይለ ማርያም ለደብዳቤያቸው በጎ ምላሽ እንደሚሰጧቸው ያላቸውን ተስፋ ገልጸዋል፡፡
የአቶ አንዳርጋቸው ጽጌ ልጅ የሆነችው የ7 አመቷ ምናበ እና መንታ ወንድሟ ይላቅ፣ ለጠቅላይ ሚንስትር ዴቪድ ካሜሩን በላኩት ደብዳቤ፣ “አባታችን ልጆቹን የሚወድና የሚንከባከብ መልካም አባት ነው፡፡ አባታችንን ከእስር ለማስፈታት ምንድን ነው የሚያደርጉልን?” በማለት መጠየቃቸውን ያስታወሰው ዘገባው፤ የመጀመሪያ ል©cW የ15 አመቷ ህላዊት በበኩሏ፣ “አባታችን በጣም ናፍቆናል፡፡ እባክዎት በቅርብ ጊዜ መልሰው ወደ ቤታችን ያምጡልን” በማለት ስሜቷን እንደገለፀች ዘገባው ጠቁሟል፡፡

Hailemariam Desalegn responds to UK PM David Cameron on the Andargachew Tsege case

Late Friday, Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn gave a brief response to UK prime minister David cameron who pleaded for the life of imprisoned rebel leader Andargachew Tsege.

Mr. Cameron has reportedly “written personally” to Desalegn requesting that Mr Tsege be saved from death penalty. In response to local media questions, Mr Desalegn said he can not “interfere with the legal proceedings” facing Tsege in Ethiopia.

Mr Desalegn also revealed that the prosecution has received “new and updated evidence” that Mr Tsege and his Ginbot7 organization is actively engaged in terrorist activities against the Ethiopian government. He is reportedly referring to a recent article by US based website “Ethiomedia” which interviewed Ginbot7 Chairman Berhanu Nega this week. Mr Berhanu told Ethiomedia that Ginbot7 is training its militia in Eritrea in order to fight the Ethiopian government.

Desalegn said Tsege has been given a defense lawyer, though his chances of winning are “very low.” But Mr Desalegn advised London to “review its policy” of giving asylum and rewarding citizenship to individuals and groups engaged in violent anti-goverment activities in Africa. He mentioned the ONLF rebel group example, whose leadership resides in the city suburbs of London. In 2007, ONLF rebels in southeast Ethiopia admitted murdering over 70 Ethiopian and chinese mine workers. Over the years, the ONLF rebels have also been accused of assassinating many somali-Ethiopians and bombings that killed civilians, including children. The Ogaden-Somali community in London provides most of the funding for ONLF rebels.

Mr Desalegn said Mr Tsege might still become eligible for reduced prison sentence (presidential pardon) in 2015 if the court decides to convict him.

UK government blasted for ‘dodging obligations’ and not pressing for release of Brit on death row in Ethiopia

The partner of a British father-of-three being held on death row after he was spirited into Ethiopia has accused the Government of “dodging its obligations” by insisting it has no grounds for demanding his release.

Andargachew “Andy” Tsege, 59, was arrested at an airport in Yemen in June, and vanished for a fortnight until he reappeared in Ethiopian detention facing a death sentence imposed five years ago after a trial held in his absence.

The Foreign Office is now facing legal action after it classified Mr Tsege’s arbitrary disappearance and removal to Ethiopia as “questionable but not a criminal matter” and said that despite the risk of torture and the ultimate sanction hanging over him it did not feel “entitled” to demand he be returned home to London.

Yemi Hailemariam, Mr Tsege’s partner and the mother of their three children, told The Independent she was deeply concerned that Britain was soft-pedalling on his case to preserve its relationship with an increasingly important ally in east Africa.

Mr Tsege, who came to Britain as a political refugee in 1979 and is a prominent dissident campaigning against the Ethiopian regime, is feared by Ms Hailemariam and the legal charity Reprieve to be at extreme risk of torture. Electrocution, beatings and abuse, which includes tying bottles of water to men’s testicles, have been reported by detainees, and Mr Tsege’s whereabouts has not been revealed by the Ethiopian authorities.

Ms Hailemariam said: “For anyone reading what has happened, it must be clear that Andy is the victim of a crime. He was kidnapped to Ethiopia and faces the death sentence from a trial where he wasn’t even represented. He is a political prisoner.

“The Foreign Office is dodging its obligations and it is hard to see any other reason than it is to preserve Britain’s wider relationship with Ethiopia. It is now 117 days that he has been in detention and Britain must now say enough is enough.”

Reprieve, which has taken up Mr Tsege’s case, said it was starting legal action against the Government, potentially leading to a judicial review, to force it to press for the Briton’s immediate release and repatriation.

Maya Foa, director of the Reprieve’s death penalty team, said: “Andy Tsege is now well into his fourth month of detention and, incredibly, we are no closer to knowing where he is or even whether the Ethiopians plan to execute him. The UK Government’s unwillingness to take action is simply unacceptable.”

The father-of-three was en route to Eritrea when he was arrested during a two-hour stop over in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, at the apparent request of the Ethiopian authorities, who seem to have had foreknowledge of Mr Tsege’s travel arrangements.

The Yemeni authorities have claimed the arrest and subsequent transfer of the Briton to Ethiopia – without any opportunity to challenge the move – took place on the basis of a security agreement between the two countries.

In a letter to lawyers for Ms Hailemariam, seen by The Independent, the FCO said it accepted “due process” did not appear to have been followed in the case but said his disappearance did not amount to a “kidnapping”.

It added that it required evidence that a British national was not being treated “in line with internationally accepted standards” before it could consider approaching local authorities. The letter said: “On the information presently available, the Foreign Secretary does not consider that the United Kingdom is entitled to demand Mr Tsege’s release or his return.”

Ms Hailemariam said: “Andy has been abducted and placed on death row on the basis of a politically motivated trial. It is difficult to think of circumstances that would fall further below ‘internationally-accepted standards’. What will it take for Britain to demand the return of one of its citizens?”

A FCO spokesman said: “The British Embassy in Ethiopia remains in contact with the Ethiopian authorities about regular consular access to Mr Tsege in the future so we’re able to continue to monitor his welfare. We also continue to press for reassurances that the death penalty imposed in absentia will not be carried out.”

The Independent revealed earlier this month that public money is being used to train security forces in Ethiopia under a £2m programme run by the Department for International Development (DfID) to fund masters degrees for 75 Ethiopian officials on improving the accountability of security services.

Material on the DfID website explaining the scheme has since been removed, prompting Reprieve to write to International Development Secretary Justine Greening asking whether the policy is under review or has been erased “to avoid embarrassment”.

DfID admitted it had cancelled the masters courses due to “concerns about risk and value for money”. A source said the decision was not linked to the case of Mr Tsege.

David Cameron wrote to the Ethiopian Prime Minister in a bid to save the life of Andargachew “Andy” Tsege, 59, whose plight was revealed by The Independent last Friday.
His actions were in response to what he described as “very touching messages” from Mr Tsege’s children, who are calling for the Prime Minister to help get their father home.

Mr Tsege, who came to Britain as a political refugee in 1979, was arrested at an airport in Yemen in June and promptly vanished. Two weeks later it emerged he had been sent to Ethiopia, where he has been imprisoned ever since. The Briton, a prominent opponent of the Ethiopian regime, is facing a death sentence imposed five years ago at a trial held in his absence.

Menabe, his seven-year-old daughter, recently wrote to Mr Cameron asking him to help get her “kind, loving and caring dad” out of prison. Her twin brother, seven-year-old Yilak, simply asked: “What are you doing to get my dad out of jail?” Mr Tsege’s 15-year-old daughter, Helawit, summed up the mood of the family in her letter: “Please, please, please (!) bring him back soon. We miss him so much.”

Responding to the children’s appeals, the Prime Minister claimed the government is taking the case “very seriously”. In the letter to Yemi Hailemariam, Mr Tsege’s partner and mother of their children, Mr Cameron admitted “Ethiopian authorities have resisted pressure” from British officials to have regular “access” to Mr Tsege.

“As a result of the lack of progress to date I have now written personally to Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn to request regular consular access and his assurance that the death penalty (which the British Government opposes in all circumstances) will not be imposed,” he added. “I very much hope that there will be further progress to report in response to my letter,” he concluded.

Responding to the news yesterday, Maya Foa, head of the death penalty team at legal charity Reprieve, commented: “The Prime Minister says he is ‘concerned’ – but where is the outrage at this flagrant breach of international law, and the ongoing abuse of a British citizen?”

She added: “Andy’s small children are terrified of losing their father, his partner is desperate with worry, and we are no closer to seeing Andy released and returned to safety. Enough delays – we need firm action now to bring him home to London.”

Reprieve has begun legal moves which could result in a judicial review to force Foreign Office officials to press for Mr Tsege’s immediate release and return to Britain – something which the Government has resisted to date. A letter to Treasury Solicitors, sent last week by lawyers acting for the charity, argues: “Far from not being ‘entitled’ to request his return, the UK Government has every reason to do so and we urge you to exercise that power as a matter of urgency.”

Meanwhile, Mr Tsege’s family remain in limbo. The past four months have been “agonising” said Ms Hailemariam. “Waking up every day not knowing where Andy is or how he’s being treated is taking a terrible toll on my children and myself.” She added: “The Prime Minister has told our family that he is taking action, but it seems like next to nothing is being done to get Andy back. The children and I need him here with us in London. The Government must demand his return, before it’s too late.”

“አርማጌዶን” የፍጻሜያችን ፍጻሜ!

በዚያው ሰሞን ነው የወያኔ ባለሥልጣናት ሲያሾፉብን “ይሄንን ሁሉ ሰይጣናዊ ድርጊት የሚፈጽሙት በዓላማ እነሱ መሆናቸው ተረስቶ” ከመሀከላቸው አንዱ ምን አለ “የሕወሀት መሪዎች በዚህ ወቅት በብሔሮች መካከል ያለው የጥላቻ መንፈስና የወደፊት የሀገሪቱ ሁኔታ እጅግ አሳስቧቸዋል በጣምም እየተጨነቁበት ያሉበት ጉዳይ ነው የብሔራዊ እርቅ ጉዳይ አስፈላጊነቱ የግድ እንደሆነ ያስባሉ እንዴትና ከማን ጋራ እንደሚጨርሱት ተቸግረው ነው እንጅ….” ብሎ ቀለደብን፡፡

ከእኛም ወገን ደግሞ ጅሎቹ የዋሀኑ ተላሎቹ እውነት መስሏቸው በየፊናቸው አንዳንድ ነገሮችን እስከማለት ደረሱ፡፡ ወያኔ ግን ወያኔ ነውና ንጹሕ መስለው አሳሰበን ካሉ በኋላም እንደትናንቱ ሁሉ ዛሬም በዓላማ ይሄንን ሰይጣናዊ የዘርና የሃይማኖት ግጭት ፍጅት ለመፍጠር ሴራውንና ድርጉቱን እየፈጸመ ይገኛል ተፈጥሯዊ ባሕርይው ነውና እስካለ ጊዜ ድረስም ሲፈጽም ይቆያል፡፡

የአሜሪካ ድምፅ ሬዲዮ በቀደም ጥቅምት 7-2-2007ዓ.ም. በነበረው ዝግጅቱ የመ.ኢ.አ.ድ ተወካይ ከሆኑት ሰውና ከሁለት ተጠቂ የአማራ ተወላጅ ቁስለኞች ጋር ባደረገው ቃለ መጠይቅ ከዚህ ዓመት ዋዜማ ከጳጉሜ 5 ጀምሮ እስከ አሁንም ድረስ በመከላከያ በፌደራልና በፖሊስ ሠራዊት አባላት ሁለቱ ብሔረሰቦች በቦታው ከሐምሳ ዓመታት በላይ አብረው ተከባብረው እንዳልኖሩ ሁሉ በአማራ ተወላጆች ላይ ከመዠንግር ተወላጆች የተቃጣ የተፈጸመ ጥቃት አስመስለው የወሰዱትና እየወሰዱት ባሉት ጭፍጨፋ ወይም የጅምላ ግድያ ወይም የዘር ማጥፋት ወንጀል እስከ አሁን ድረስ ከ540 በላይ ዜጎች ተጨፍጭፈዋል፣ ከ25 ባለይ ቤቶች በኗሪዎቹ ላይ እንደተዘጉ እሳት ተለቆባቸው እንዲቃጠሉ ተደርጓል፣ ከዚህ የተረፉት ሕፃናት እናቶች አረጋውያን ዕድሜ ልክ የለፉበት ቤት ንብረታቸውን ጥለው ተፈናቅለው እንዲሰደዱ ተደርጓል፡፡

በእርግጥ ይሄንን አሳዛኝ ዜና ሲናገር የአሜሪካ ድምፅ ራዲዮ የመጀመሪያው አይደለም ቀደም ሲልም ጀምሮ የኢሳት ቴሌቪዥን ዘግቦት ነበር፡፡ ይህ ልክና ቅጥ ያጣ ከፍተኛ የሆነ ንቀት የተሞላ አረመኔያዊ የግፍ ድርጊት ዓለማችን የዛሬ ሁለት ዐሥርት ዓመታት በሩዋንዳ በቱትሲና ለዘብተኛ የሁቱ ተወላጆች ላይ ካስተናገደችው አረመኔያዊ ግፍ በኋላ በድጋሜ ሲከሰት ይህ የመጀመሪያው ነው፡፡ በኢትዮጵያ ታሪክ ደግሞ በአንድ ዘር ተወላጆች ላይ በዘራቸው ምክንያት ብቻ ጥቃት ሲፈጸም ይህ በአማራ ተወላጆች ላይ ወያኔ ሥልጣን ከያዘ ጊዜ ጀምሮ እየወሰደ ያለው መጠነ ሰፊ ጥቃት ከዮዲት ጉዲት 842ዓ.ም-882ዓ.ም. ለ40 ዓመታት ከፈጸመችው ጥቃት በኋላ የመጀመሪያው ነው፡፡ ይህ ሰሞኑን በዚህ አረመኔ አገዛዝ የተፈጸመው የግፍ ድርጊት የአንድ ዘር አባላት በመሆናቸው ብቻ 540 ያህል ሰዎችን ከአንድ አካባቢ ብቻ ሲፈጁ የተቀሩትንም ሲያቆስሉና ሲያፈናቅሉ ትናንትናም በሱማሌና በአኝዋክ ዜጎቻችን የተፈጸመው የጦር ወንጀል ወይም የዘር ማጥፋት ለዚህች ሀገርና ሕዝብ ህልውና ምን ያህል አደገኛ እንደሆነ በሚገባ የታወቀ ቢሆንም እጅግ በሚደንቅና ግራ በሚያጋባ ሁኔታ ከዓለም አቀፉ ማኅበረሰብ በተለይም የሰው ልጆች መብት ያንገበግበናል ከሚሉ መንግሥታት አንድ የተባለ ነገር የለም ለምን? ለምን? እኮ ለምን?

ይህ የግፍ አገዛዝ የተማመነውን አላውቅም ሊያደርገው ካሰበው ሰይጣናዊ ድርጊት ዝግጅቱ የተነሣ ይሄንኛውን ጨምሮ ከዚህም ከቀም በተለያዩ የሀገሪቱ አካባቢዎች ስለፈጸማቸው የግፍ ድርጊቶች ተከታታይ ክሶች ጉዳይ ፈጽሞ የሚያሳስበው ሆኖ አልተገኘም፡፡ ከንቱ የቁራ ጩኸት አድርጎ ነው እያየው ያለው፡፡ ነገሩን እያደረገው ያለው በዓላማ ነውና ከመታረም ከመስተካከል ይልቅ በተጠናከረ መልኩ መፈጸሙን የሙጥኝ ተያይዞታል፡፡

ከዚህ ቀደም በተጠናና በተቀናበረ መልኩ በተለያዩ ቦታዎች የተፈጸሙ ተመሳሳይ የግፍ ድርጊቶቹ ሊደብቀው ሊያስተባብለው የማይችለው ሲሆንበት ይሄንን የፈጸሙ ከአሥተዳደር መዋቅሩ የወረዳ የዞንና የክልል ባለሥልጣናት እንዳሉ ያምንና ለፍርድ እንደሚቀርቡም ይገልጻል፡፡ ይሁን እንጅ አስቀድሞም ይሄንን የሚለው ለማስመሰል ወይንም ለመልስ ያህል እንጅ ሊያደርገው ባለመሆኑ እስከ ዛሬ ድረስ እነ እከሌ እነ እከሌ እንዲህ እንዲህ ዓይነት ወንጀል መፈጸማቸው በመረጋገጡ ሕጉ እንዲህ ዓይነት ቅጣት ጥሎባቸው ተቀጥተዋል ብሎ ለሕዝብ ሲገልጽና ሲያስቀጣ ታይቶ አይታወቅም፡፡ ከልምዱ እንደምንረዳው እንዲፈጽሙ ታዘው በሌላ ተመሳሳይ ወንጀል ላይ የሚገኙ አባላቱንም ወንጀሉ በሕዝብ ዕይታ ውስጥ ሲሆንና ሊታበል የማይችል ሲሆንበት ለይስሙላ እንደታሰሩ ይገለጽና ግን ወዲያውኑ ወደ ሌላ አካባቢ ተዛውረው እንዲሠሩ ያደርጋል እንጅ አገዛዙ በራሱ እዝ ስር ሆነው ወንጀል ከፈጸሙ አባላቱ ማንንም ተጠያቂ በማድረግ ታይቶ አይታወቅም፡፡ ይህም ጉዳይ ወንጀል እየተፈጸመ ያለው በሚገባ ታስቦበት በተጠናና በተቀናጀ መንገድ መሆኑን ያረጋግጣል፡፡

ይሄንን ጉዳይ የኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ በሚገባ ያውቃል ይረዳል፡፡ ይህ መሆኑ ከታወቀ የኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ በተለይም ከመጀመሪያው ጀምሮ በተለያዩ የሀገሪቱ አካባቢዎች ጥቃቱ ሲፈጸምበት የቆየውና በቀጥታ ያነጣጠረበት አማራው ምን እንደሚጠብቅ ፈጽሞ ሊገባኝ አልቻለም፡፡ በፍጹም ያልተዘራ ነው የበቀለው “የእሳት ልጅ አመድ” እንዲሉ ያለ አባቱ ነው እየኖረ ያለው፡፡ ሕዝቡ ለመታረድ ተራውን እንደሚጠብቅ የቄራ የእርድ ከብት የረባ ተቃውሞ እንኳን ሳያሳይ በዝምታ እጅና እግሩን አጣምሮ ምንም እንዳልተፈጠረ ተራውን መጠበቁ ለሚያየው ሁሉ የማይታመንና ትንግርት ነው፡፡ ኧረ ምንድን ነው የሆንከው ወገኔ? ተራህን ነው ወይ የምትጠብቀው? እነዚህ በግፍ የተገደሉ ወገኖችህ እኮ ከአማራነታቸው በስተቀር አንድም በደል አንድም ወንጀል የለባቸውም፡፡ ወንጀላቸው እኮ አማራነታቸው ብቻ ነው፡፡

ታዲያ እንዲህ ከሆነ እንዴት እኔን ይምረኛል ብለህ አሰብክ? ይህ ጭራቅ አገዛዝ እነሱን ብቻ በልቶ ይቀር ይመስልሀል? ይተወኛል ያልፈኛል ይምረኛል ብለህ ተስፋ የማይደረግ ነገር ተስፋ አድርገህ ከሆነ መበላትህ ነው ለዘር እንኳን ሳትተርፍ ማለቅህ ነው መፈጀትህ ነው፡፡ ቀን ያልፍ ይሆናል ብለህ እንጀራህን ድርሻህን የራስህን ማዕድ እየነጠቀ ሲበላብህና የበይ ተመልካች ሆነህ በችጋር እየተቆላህ እየተጠበስክ አኗኗሪ መሆንህንስ ችለኸው ኖርክ ሲያቅትህም እግርህ ወዳመራህ እየተሰደድክ የበረሀ አውሬና የባሕር ዓሣ ሲሳይ ሆነህ እያለቅህም ከችጋርህ ጋር ቆየህ እንዲህ ተዋርደህ ተሰቃይተህ ያቆየሀት ነፍስህ ያልፋል ያልከው ቀን ሳያልፍ ተደፍታ የምትቀር ከሆነ ከዚህ በኋላ ያለህ ትዕግሥት ለምንህ ይሆናል?

ተው ሳይቀድምህ ቅደመው? ተው ተበላህ? ተው አለቀልህ? ኧረ ምን ጉድ ነው? ኧረ ተው ኧረ ተው? በምኖች እጅ እንዳለህ እኮ ፈጽሞ አላወከውም! እንዳንተ አስተዋይነት እንዳንተ አርቆ አሳቢነት እንዳንተ ኃላፊነት እንደሚሰማው ዜጋነትህ እንዳንተ ትዕግሥት መስሎሀል? ፈጽሞ አላወከውም አለማወቅህ ሊያስበላህ ነው ቅንነትህ ታጋሽነትህ አሳቢነትህ ሊያስጨርስህ ነው፡፡ ተው በጊዜ ንቃ የሞት ሰው መሆንህ ካልቀረ ገለኸው ሙት የሚቀረው ልጅህ ቀን ይውጣለት በደምህ ዘርህን ታደግ ትውልድህን ነጻ አውጣ፡፡ ቀንህን ጠብቀው ማለቅህ ካልቀረ ነፍስህ በከንቱ አትለፍ ሀገርንና ሕዝብን የሚታደግ ቁምነገር ሥራባት፡፡ ገለኸው ሙት ጉርቦውን እነቀው ተው ተነሥ አለቀልህ? የቀኑ ቀን እማ የመጨረሻው ቀንማ ምን ልታደርግ ትችላለህ? ያ ቀን እኮ ካንተ ይልቅ የሚመቸው ለሱ ነው፡፡ ያኔማ ምን መላወሻ አለህ? ተረፍርፈህ ከማለቅ በስተቀር ምን አማራጭ የሚኖርህ መሰለህ?

ወያኔ በሰነዱ አስፍሮት እንዳየኸው እንደሰማኸው “አያጅባጅቦ ሳታመሀኝ ብላኝ” እንዲሉ አብሮ ለመኖር፣ ተከባብሮ ለመኖር፣ እንግዳን ለማስተናገድ ያለህን በሃይማኖታዊ አስተምህሮ የታሸ የበሰለ ባሕል ሸምጥጠው በመካድ “አማራን ለጥቃት የሚዳርገው ትምክህተኛነቱ ነው” ይሄንን ትምክህት ይዞ ከሌላው ሕዝብ ጋር ሊኖር አይችልም! ብለው ቆርጠውብሀል፡፡ አይተሀል ሰምተሀል፡፡ እውን አንተ እንደዚያ ሆነህ ነው? ወይስ ለማጥቂያ ምክንያት ሲፈለግልህ?

ትምክህት መሠረት ካለው የሚያኮራ እንጅ እንዴት ነው የሚያሳፍር የማይፈለግ እንዲጠፋ የሚፈለግ ሊሆን የሚችለው? ደናቁርት ሆይ! ይሄ ትምክህት ከየትም የመጣ ወድቆ የተገኘ ይመስላቹሀል? ይህ ትምክህት ተፈልጎ የመጣ ሳይሆን ለሽዎች ዓመታት ከነበረን የሥልጣኔ የነጻነት የማንነት እሴቶችን ለመፍጠር በተደረገ ውጣ ውረድና ታሪክ የተነሣ በራሱ ጊዜ የተፈጠረ የሥነልቡና ሀብት ነው፡፡

ደናቁርቱ ይህ ማንነት ምን ያህል እንደተደከመበት ምን ያህል መሥዋዕትነት እንደተከፈለበት እያወቁ ለታሪክ ለቅርስ ለማንነት ካላቸው ጠላትነት የተነሣ ይሄንን ቅርስህን ታሪክህን ማንነትህን ጣልና ባዶ ሁን ቀፎ ሁን አልጫ ሁን እያሉ እየተጫኑት እያስገደዱት እያዋከቡት ግራ እያጋቡት ይገኛሉ፡፡ ወያኔ “ትምክህት” የማንነት ምስክራችን መሆኑን ቅርሳችን መሆኑን የቀረልን ሀብታችን መሆኑን የወደፊት የመነቃቂያ ጉልበታችን መሆኑን የወኔ ምንጫችን መሸነጫችን መሆኑን ጠንቅቆ ስለሚያውቅና ስለሚያሳስበው ትምክህታችንን ከልቦናችን ከደማችን ላይ ነቅሎ ጥሎ ገልቱ ስልብ ጀሌው አድርጎን ሊቀር በርትቶ እያሴረ ነው፡፡ ወያኔ በአማራ ላይ ስለሚያመር እንጅ ትምክህተኛ አማራ ብቻ ነው ያለው ማን ነው? ለዚህች ሀገር ሥልጣኔና ነጻነት ድርሻ የሌለው የለምና ይበላለጥ ካልሆነ በቀር በዚህች ሀገር ታሪክና ማንነት ትምክህት የማይሰማው ብሔረሰብ ማን አለ? በግለሰብ ደረጃ ግን የዚህችን ሀገር ጥፋቷን የሚመኙ የጥፋት ልጆች አሉና ከዚህ ጠላትነታቸው የተነሣ እነሱ ማውደም ማጥፋት በመቻላቸው በዚህ ሥራቸው እብሪትና ትዕቢት ይሰማቸው ካልሆነ በስተቀር በምንም ተአምር ትምክህት ሊሰማቸው እንደማይችል ለማንም ግልጽ ነው፡፡

እኔስ እኮራለሁ ፤ ቅርሴ ነው ትምክሕቴ

በደም የወረስኩት ፤ ከእናትና አባቴ

የትንሣኤየ አቅም ፤ መነሻ ጉልበቴ

ትምክሕቴ ነው ውርስ ፤ ቅርስ የታሪክ ሀብቴ፡፡

ትልቅ እንደነበርን ፤ ትልቅ እንሆናለን

ያለው እኮ ካሳ ፤ ተናግሮ ኃይለ ቃልን

ለማገናኘት ነው ፤ ትናንትና ነገን፡፡

የሀገርን ታሪክ ፤ ታሪኬ ካላሉት

ከወዴት ይገኛል ፤ ያ ቅርስ ትምክሕት

አንተ ባንዳ ሆነህ ፤ ከነ ዘርማንዘርህ

ስታደማ የኖርክ ፤ ለሀገር ጠላት አድረህ

ታዲያ ትምክህቱ ፤ ከወዴት ይምጣልህ?

ተከናነብ እንጅ ፤ ውርደት እንደ አባትህ፡፡

ከጥንት ከመሠረት ፤ ሳይደከምበት

ከእናትና ከአባት ፤ ሳይወራረሱት

ግራ ቀኝ ቢያፈጡ ፤ ከየት ይገኛል ትምክህት?

በውጪ የምትኖሩ በስደት ያላቹህ ወገኖቻችን ሆይ! ፡-

ይሄውላቹህ እንግዲህ የእኛ መጨረሻ ይሄው ሆኗል፡፡ የቀን ጉዳይ ነው እንጅ ሳንሞት ሞተናል ነፍሳችን ሳይወጣ ሞተን ተቀብረናል መቸም ይሄንን እየሰማህ ሥራው ይሠራልህ መብሉም ይበላልህ አይመስለኝም፡፡ ከዚህ የከፋ ነገር የለህምና ሥራዬ ምኔ ሳትል ከሊቅ እስከ ደቂቅ፣ ከሃይማኖት መሪ እስከ ሕዝባዊ፣ ከምሁሩ እስከ ጨዋው ሁላቹህም የሚሰማህ የሚረዳህ የሚደርስልህ መንግሥት ባይኖርም አማራ ብቻ ሳትሆን ሌላውም የኢትዮጵያ ልጅ የሐበሻ ዘርም ቢሆን በወያኔ ያልተጎዳ ዘር የለምና ሁልህም በያለህበት ሀገር አንድላይ አደባባይ ወጥተህ ለእግዚአብሔርና ለታሪክ እሪ በል፡፡ መጨረሻችን ይሄውና እንዳለቅን እንደተፈጀን ቆጥረኸን አልቅስልን፣ ሙሾህን አውርድልን፣ እንባህን ተራጭልን፡፡ ይሄንን ባታደርግ ግን እርም እንደበላህ ቁጠረው፣ እንደሸጥከን እንደከዳኸን ቁጠረው፣ ደማችንን ደመ ከልብ እንዳደረከው ቁጠረው፡፡

ወገኔ ሆይ! መንገድ ቢሠራ ሕንፃ ቢደረደር ግድብ ቢገነባ ምን ቢያደርግ ላንተ እንዳይመስልህ፡፡ እንዲህ እንዲህ እያደረገ በምታውቀውም በማታውቀውም ጥቃቱ መጦ ጨርሶህ ለራሱ ተዝመንምኖ ሊኖርበት እንጅ፡፡ ከአያያዙ ዕይና ተረዳ ላንተ አስቦ እንዳይመስልህ ከድርጊቱ እወቅ ከአስተሳሰቡ ገምተው ከአፈጻጸሙ ንቃ፡፡ ለሕዝብ በማሰቡ ይመስልሀል እርስ በእርስህ ሊያፋጅህ የሚጥረው? የብሔረሰቦችን እኩልነት በማመኑ ይመስልሀል ጥቂትም የነበሩትን የሌላ ብሔረሰብ ተወላጆችን እየፈነገለ ሥልጣን የተባለውን ሁሉ በራሱ ዘር ብቻ እንዲያዝ ያደረገው? ላንተ ስላዘነ ይመስልሀል የሀገሪቱን ሀብት ሁሉ በፓርቲውና በግለሰቦቹ እጅ ጠቅልሎ የያዘው? ወገኔ ሆይ! ይሄ ይሄ ካላነቃህ ሌላ ምን ሊያነቃህ ይችላል?

የበረሀ አውሬ ፤ አለምዳለሁ ብሎ

ሰይጣንን መልአክ ፤ ሊያደረግ ተስፋ ጥሎ

ወገኔ አለቀ ፤ በየዕለት ተገሎ

ለሰይጣን አምልኮው ፤ መሥዋዕት ታድሎ

አፉን እንደዘጋ ፤ በአዚም ታጅሎ፡፡

ተበልተህ አትለቅ ፤ ተው ስማ ተው ስማ

በሀገሩ ሰው ሳያልቅ ፤ ሳትሆን ውድማ

ወኔህ ተቀስቅሶ ፤ ዘራፍ ብትልማ

ማን ከፊትህ ሊቆም ፤ ምኑም አይሰማ

የሚገባበትም ፤ ድራሹ አይታወቅ

እንደዚህ መሆኑ ፤ ላንተም እስከሚደንቅ፡፡

እንዲህ ከብዶ የታየህ ፤ ቋጥኝ ተመስሎ

ገለጥ ብታደርገው ፤ ባገኘኸው ቀሎ

ገለባ ቢከመር ፤ ተራራ አክሎ

ያለ የሚመስለው ፤ እስኪነሣ ነው አውሎ፡፡

ለዘር ትረፍ ካለህ ፤ በሰይፍህ ተቀስፎ

መሆኑን ታያለህ ፤ ባዶ የንብ ቀፎ፡፡

ከቀየህ መብቀሉን ፤ ወገንነቱን ዐይተህ

ስምክን ይዟልና ፤ አንተን የሆነ መስሎህ

እጅግ ተዘናጋህ ፤ ባዕድ አልመጣ! ብለህ፡፡

ከጠላትም ጠላት ፤ ሆኖ እንደከፋብህ

እንድታውቅ አድርጎ ፤ ማን የት በነገረህ?

ጉዞህ ከአውሬ ጋራ ፤ መሆኑን ካወከው

መቅደምህ ብቻ ነው ፤ ነፍስህን የሚያተርፈው፡፡

ለወያኔ ተሰልፈህ እንደዜጋና እንደሰው ለምን? እንዴት? ሳትን የገዛ ወገንህን እየጨፈጨፍክ ያለህ የመከላከያ የፌዴራልና የፖሊስ ሠራዊት አባላት ሆይ! ፡-

ይሄንን ድርጊት በገዛ ወገንህ ላይ ምንም የሠራው ወንጀል እንደሌለ እያወክ ጨክነህ ስለፈጸምክ ወያኔ አንተን ይምርሀል እንዳይመስልህ፡፡ ከእሱ ጋር በድሎት የምትኖር እንዳይመስልህ፡፡ እንድትሠራለት የፈለገውን ሠርተህ ከጨረስክ በኋላ ቀጣዩ ኢላማው ከራሱ ዘር ውጪ የሆንከው የመከላከያ የፌዴራል የፖሊስ ሠራዊት አባላት መሆንህን እወቀው፡፡ አእምሮ ካለህ ማስተዋሉ ካለህ ይሄንን ጉዳይ ከወያኔ ታሪክ ትረዳለህ፡፡

የምትተርፍ መስሎህ ፤ ማንነትህን ብትከዳ

አማራ አይደለሁ እያልክ ፤ ብትገባም ሌላ ጓዳ

እሱ እንደሆን አይተውህ ፤ ይጨርስሀል ለቃቅሞ

ሱማሌነት አላዳነ ፤ አኝዋክ ነኝ ማለት ኦሮሞ፡፡

ወያኔን በታሪኩ እንደምታውቀው ወያኔ ማለት ለተራና ነውረኛ የፖለቲካ ትርፍ ሲል ሆን ብሎ ቀጥሮ ሀውዜን ላይ የገዛ ወገኖቹህ እንዲጨፈጨፉ ያደረገ አረመኔ ነው፣ ወያኔ ማለት ትግሬ ስላልሆኑና ስለፈራቸው ብቻ በሐሰት ክስ ወንጅሎ አብረውት ታግለው የገቡትን የሌላ ብሔረሰብ አባላትን የሚገል የሚያስር የሚያባር ወራዳ የአንድ ጎጥ የወንበዴ ቡድን ነው፣ ወያኔ ማለት በምርጫ 97ዓ.ም. ላይ “ስለገደሉ ገደልኩ” ለማለት ለተቃውሞ የወጡ ሰላማዊ ሰልፈኞችን ለመምታት ከተሠማሩት ውስጥ ሰባት ወይም ዘጠኝ የሚሆኑትን የገዛ ኃይሉን ከኋላ አዘጋጅቶ ባስቀመጣቸው መትቶ ከገደለ በኋላ 199 ሰላማዊ ሠልፈኞችን የገደለ ሌላም አንተ የምታውቀውን እኛ የማናውቀውን ብዙ ዓይነት ግፍ የፈጸመና እየፈጸመ ያለ አረመኔ አገዛዝ ነው፡፡

እናም ቀንህ እስኪደርስ ነው እንጅ ለአንተም ለእያንዳንድህ ቢሆን ይመለስልሀል እንዳይመስልህ፡፡ ቀንህን ነው የምትጠብቀው ልዩነት የለንም ቶሎ ነቅተህ ካልቀደምከው በስተቀር የቀን የጊዜ ጉዳይ ነው እንጅ አንተም እሬሳ ነህ፡፡ ብትቀድመው ነው የሚሻልህ ጊዜ የለህም ቶሎ ንቃ! ሕዝብ ላይ፣ ወገንህ ላይ፣ እናትህ ላይ፣ አባትህ ላይ፣ እኅትህ ላይ፣ ወንድምህ ላይ ያነጣጠርከውን አፈሙዝ መልሰህ አንሥተህ ከራሱ ግንባር ላይ አርከፍክፍበት፡፡ ሞትህን ገድለኸው በሞትህ ላይ ፎክርበት እራስህን ነጻ አውጣ ነፍስህን ከጭራቅ አትርፋት፡፡ ሀገር ሕዝብህን ታደግ፣ የሚያኮራህን ታሪክ ሥራ ጊዜ የለህም ፍጠን የአፍታ ጊዜ ካባከንክ ያልቅልሀል መበላትህ ነው፡፡ አንተ ብቻ ትንሽ ድፈር በጣም ቀላል ነው ከቁርስ አያልፍም ፍጠን! ፍጠን! ወገን ፍጠን!

ቁረጥ ቁረጥ ስለው ፤ ገና ሲያመነታ

ድንገት ቆርጠው ጣሉት ፤ ከእንቅልፉ ለአፍታ፡፡

መቅደም እንጅ ነበር ፤ የወንድነት ግብሩ

ነገን ዛሬ ላይ ዐይቶ ፤ በቁም ሳይቀበሩ

እስኪቀደሙማ ፤ ቆመው ካንቀላፉ

ምን አለው ለሬሳ ፤ መቀበር ነው ትርፉ፡፡

የትግራይ ህዝብ ሆይ! ፡-

ወያኔ ይሄንን ሁሉ ግፍ የሚሠራው ለአንተ ጥቅም ሲል እንደሆነ ሲነግርህ ቆይቷል አንተም ታውቃለህ፡፡ ወያኔ በሚሠራው ሥራ ሁሉ ያንተ ብርቱና የማያወላዳ ድጋፍና ይሁንታ እንዳለው በአጽንኦት ይገልጣል ይሄንን ታውቃለህ፡፡ ወያኔ በቻለው መጠን ሁሉ መተለየና ፍጹም ኢፍትሐዊ በሆነ መንገድ አንተን ተጠቃሚ ለማድረግ ሲጣጣር “አይ! ይሄማ ሕገ ወጥ ነው ከሌላው ሕዝብ ጋራም ያቃቅረኛልና አይሆንም አልፈልግም” አላልክም ይልቁንም “በረሀ እያለ አደርግላቹሀለው ብሎ ቃል የገባልንን እስከዛሬ ድረስ አላደረገም ተከድተናል” የሚል ቅሬታ እንዳለህ ይነገራል፡፡ እጅግ በሚገርምና በሚያሳዝን መልኩ ይሄ ምን ማለት እንደሆነ ግን ጨርሶ አልገባህም፡፡ ይህ አንተን መከታ ያደረገ ግፈኛ አገዛዝ ያንተን ክንድ ተደግፎ ለሚሠራው ወንጀል ሁሉ ኃላፊ መሆንህን አልገባህም አልተረዳህም ወይም ይሄ መሆኑን አምነህ ተቀብለሀል ኃላፊነቱን ለመውሰድም ተዘጋጅተሀል ማለት ነው፡፡

ወያኔ እስከአሁን ያንተን ውክልና ይዞ በሠራው ግፍ ያልወደድከው ኖሮ በግልጽ “አይ! በስማችን እየተጠቀምክማ ይሄንን ልታደርግ አትችልም!” ስትል ታይተህ ተሰምተህ አታውቅም፡፡ ይልቁንም የሞቀ ድጋፍህ እየተቸረው ይገኛል፡፡ አሁንም ይሄ ማለት ምን ማለት እንደሆነ ጨርሶ አልገባህም፡፡ ወያኔ በሚያሴረው ሰይጣናዊ ሴራ ዛሬ ዓለም አንድ መንደር ሆና ዜጎች ባሕር ተሻግረው ሁሉ በባዕዳን ሀገራት ሠርተው በሚኖሩበት ዘመን የአማራ ተወላጆችን እናት አባቶቹ ለነጻነቷና ለህልውናዋ በሞቱላት በገዛ እናት ሀገሩ የተለያዩ አካባቢዎች ውጡ እያሰኘ ወልደው ከብደው ከየኖሩበት ቀየ እያፈናቀለና እየገደለ እንደቆየ ታውቃለህ፡፡ ይሄም ምን ማለት እንደሆነ ፈጽሞ አልገባህም፡፡

ወያኔ ይሄንን በማድረጉ፤ መቸም የታሪክ እውነታ ነውና ከታሪክ እውነታ ውጭ ደሞ ለአንተ ተብሎ የተለየ ነገር ሊሆንልህ አይችልምና ነገ ቀን ሲለወጥ ወያኔ ክፉኛ እንዲያቄምብህ ባደረገው የኢትዮጵያ ሕዝብ ይህ “ውጡልን” የሚለውና የሌላውም ጥቃት እጣ ባንተ ላይ ቢደርስ ልትለው የምትችለውን አንድም ነገር እያሳጣህ እንደሆነ ከቶውንም አልገባህም፡፡ የሰው ጭንቅላት የያዝክ እስከማይመስል ድረስ ተደፍነሀል፡፡ ገብቶህም ከሆነ ከወዲሁ ልትወስደው የሚገባህን እርምጃ ስትወስድ ጨርሶ ታይተህ አታውቅም፡፡ እናም ብዙ ሊገቡህ ያልቻሉ የከፋ ዋጋ የሚያስከፍሉህ ነገሮች አሉ፡፡ ገብቶህም ከሆነ የማስተካከያ የማረሚያ እርምጃዎችን አለመውሰድህ ዕዳው ያንተ መሆኑን አላወክም ወይም ኃላፊነቱን ለመውሰድ ወስነሀል ማለት ነው፡፡ ይህም ምን ማለት እንደሆነ አልገባህም እጅግ እጅግ እናዝናለን፡፡

“ነጻነቱ ስለሌለኝ እንጅ ሳይሰማኝ ቀርቶ አይደለም እኔም እኮ ችግር አለብኝ እንዴት ብየ የተቃውሞ ድምፅ አሰማለሁ?” የሚል ምክንያት ቢኖርህ ተቀባይነት ሊኖረው የማይችልበት ምክንያት ቢያንስ እንደሌላው ብሔረሰብ ሁሉ በተለያየ መንገድ ቅሬታህን ማሰማት አልቻልክም፣ አሁንም እንደሌላው ብሔረሰብ ሁሉ ከሀገር ውጪ ባሉ ልጆችህ የተቃውሞ ድምፅህን ማሰማት የምትችል ሆኖ እያለ ይሄንን ዕድል ልትጠቀምበት አልቻልክም፡፡ እዚያ ያሉ ልጆችህም እንዳንተ ሁሉ አግባብነት በሌለውና እግጅ ኃላፊነት በጎደለው መልኩ ፍጹም ጭፍን ድጋፋቸውን ለዚህ ደንቁሮ ላደነቆረህ አገዛዝ ከአህያ የተሻለ ማሰብ ለማይችል የጎጥ ቡድን የሚሰጡ ብቻ ናቸው፡፡ ይሄ ምን ማለት እንደሆነ እነሱም አልገባቸውም፡፡ እናዝናለን ምን ማድረግ ይቻላል? ብቻ እንዳወቅንህ እንድታውቅ፡፡ ህልውናህን ከወያኔ ህልውና ጋር ማጣበቅህ ማቆራኘትህ እንዴት ብስለት መስሎ እንደታየህ እጅግ እግጅ የሚገርምና ከአንድ ሕዝብ ሊጠበቅ የማይችል ያልተለመደም አስተሳሰብ ነው፡፡

ወያኔ የሠራልህ የጠቀመህ የበጀህ መስሎሀል ነገር ግን ሠርቶልህ ሳይሆን ሠርቶብህ ጠቅሞህ ሳይሆን አሲሮብህ እንደሚሄድና እንዲህ የተንሰፈሰፍክለትን ያህል አምርረህ የምትረግምበት ዘመን እንደሚመጣ ልትጠራጠር አይገባም፡፡ አርቆ ማሰብ ከቻልክ ይህ ሁሉ ከመሆኑ በፊት ልታደርገው የምትችለውን ነገር አድርገህ የማይቀረውንና ደስ የማይለውን ክፉ ቀንህን ለማስቀረት እንድትችል ስመክርህ ከልብ እያዘንኩልህ ነው፡፡ ልብ አድርግ ይሄንን ማድረግ የምትችለው ዛሬ እንጅ ነገ አይደለም፡፡ ነገማ ሌላ ቀን ነው፡፡

በል እንግዲህ ወገኔ ልልህ የምችለው ይሄንን ነው ካለሁ አለሁ መልሰን እንገናኛለን ከሌለሁና አውሬዎቹ ከበሉኝ ደኅና ሁን!፡፡ የአባቶቻችን አምላክ ይርዳህ፣ ድፍረቱን ኃይሉን ጽናቱን ይስጥህ፣ በእናት አባቶችህ ጫማ ያቁምህ፡፡
